Laboratories & Facilities
Vibration
This experimental facility can reproduce high-precision seismic motions on the large-scale shaking table and various response waveforms on the long-period shaking table to meet increasing diverse needs. It is used to verify vibration-related issues, such as the structural damage, indoor safety, and demonstration of a new vibration control system.

High Performance 3-Dimensional 6 D.O.F Shaking Table “W-DECKER”
Large-scale shaking table to operate to meet various requests, such as highly accurate reproduction of earthquake ground motion and a long-period and large amplitude motion.

MIK System Vibration Measuring Vehicle
Highly accurate and real-time evaluation of the vibration characteristics of structures using a multi-point simultaneous vibration measurement system.

Large-scale Shaking Table
A maximum of 60 t test piece can be placed on a 5 m x 7 m table. It is possible to reproduce almost all of the large-scale seismic records observed in Japan in recent years.
Long-period Shaking Table
Specimens up to 5 tons can be placed on a 2 m x 2 m table. By setting up it on the large-scale shaking table and cooperating the both tables, it is possible to reproduce the response of a skyscraper to a long-period earthquake.
